A 12x zoom lens - the most powerful on any camera in this category - and macro feature make the DK-1 ideal for a wide variety of assignments. Even high speed moving objects can be captured with the DK-1's sophisticated 1/50 - 1/4000 sec electronic shutter and Sony's unique progressive scan CCD. Companies* Truthful, consistent colour for high end graphics and prepress environments
The new high-performance Sony TrueView 20-inch monitor uses advanced Trinitron technology and sophisticated software to create a new standard for truthful, stable and consistent colour representation.Developed for the most demanding prepress and computer graphics environments, the TrueView is also notable for being the first prepress monitor from Sony's world-renowned Broadcast & Professional Division whose high-tech imaging hardware has hitherto been developed exclusively for the TV, video, medical and scientific industries.
Colour accuracy on the TrueView superfine pitch flat screen Trinitron CRT is enhanced by digital uniformity calibration which provides colour and brightness compensation at more than 7,000 points, This unique feature gives exceptional colour uniformity across the entire screen.
Long term colour stability is assured by continuous beam current feedback with each of the colour guns being automatically calibrated in real time - a process which also extends the life of the monitor.
The Sony TrueView also has RGB fine adjustment controls and improved colour temperature controls which allow the default settings to be adjusted in 100K steps in the 3,000K - 9,300K range.
Digital multiscan resolution switching gives up to 1,600 x 1,200 pixels at 60Hz or 1,152 x 870 pixels at 75Hz while pin-sharp images remain easy on the eye courtesy of an ITO coating on the screen which minimises glare and ambient light reflection.
Fully compatible with Apple's ColorSync colour management system for consistency throughout the prepress cycle, the new TrueView costs £3,250 and is supplied with Sony's proprietary densitometer and a 12-month warranty.
